2012 UNI GAMES.
University Sport New Zealand is proud to announce that 2012 Uni Games will be hosted in Wellington City!
Wellington City provides first class facilities for the Games, with the recent opening of the new ASB Sports Centre, and the Wellington City Council’s initiative of several all-weather artificial turfs around the city.
The Games will begin with Accreditation day on Tuesday 10th April, with competitions running from Wednesday 11th to Friday 13th April.
USNZ will also be looking to hold an inter-campus team event on the Saturday (14th) (more details to follow)
This event will lead into the Awards Presentation and Closing Ceremony on the Saturday afternoon/evening.
The 11 confirmed sports are;
Badminton
Basketball
20/20 Cricket
Debating
Football
Lawn Bowls
Netball
7’s Rugby
Touch
Ultimate
Volleyball.
