Executive Director wanted

University Sport New Zealand (USNZ) is seeking an Executive Director to lead the organisation and oversee the day-to-day management of the organisation.

USNZ is the national sporting organisation responsible for inter-University competition including the iconic NZ University Games. USNZ also provides an extensive international representative programme (including the biennial World University Games), regular training to stakeholder groups and is responsible for the awarding of prestigious NZ Universities Blues.

USNZ wishes to appoint an Executive Director who will provide leadership and day-to-day management to the organisation utilising his/her flair, commitment, enthusiasm and significant sports administration experience. (S)he will be an excellent communicator, have proven management skills and a relevant degree. Knowledge of the tertiary education sector would be an advantage as would experience of University sport and recreation.

The ED position is full-time, reports to the USNZ Board through the USNZ President and is based at the USNZ Office in Wellington.
