Massey Palmerston North wins Central Tertiary Challenge

About 200 competitors took part in the inaugural Central Tertiary Challenge from 4 Tertiary Institutions in 6 sports, which was held on the beautiful Massey Campus. Despite light breeze and clouds, everyone enjoyed the day of fun. Volleyball and basketball were played in the morning only, with the rest of the sports being played throughout the day.
After a hearty lunch, some of the competitors jumped on the ergs to compete against their friends and foes! This led to great excitement and joy. The day ended with a feast of pizza at the MUBar, just after the Massey Omani Soccer team had played a wonderful game of football against the Massey African Team. The night ended with the prize giving and the DJ playing out some great tunes.
