UNIVERSITY SPORT NEW ZEALAND ELECTIONS

The University Sport New Zealand Membership will elect four (4) new members to the USNZ Board at the upcoming Half Annual General Meeting in Wellington.
The vacancies are for 1 -2 year terms, with eligibility for renewal for further years at future elections and include the following positions.
· President (2 Year Term)
· Board Member (2 Year Term)
· Board Member (1 Year Term)
· Constituent Representative (1 Year Term)
To be successful in these roles University Sport New Zealand seeks nominations from the tertiary, sport and business industries to fill these vacancies. It is desirable that nominees for these roles have demonstrated skills, experience and networks in one or more of the following areas;
· Financial management (not for profits)
· Sponsorship and fundraising
· Commercial partnerships
· Event and project management
· Sports development and pathways and the
· New Zealand tertiary environment
Please note that as per the University Sport New Zealand Constitution, nominees for any elected Board position must be endorsed by a Constituent Member.

Nominations must be sent to the Returning Officer on the official nomination form no later than 5pm Saturday 7 November 2009.
