Victoria & Lincoln reach final

Victoria & Lincoln Universities recorded day 3 victories to reach Sunday’s final of the 2006 NZU Men’s Cricket Championship in Christchurch. Victoria were comfortable winners in their Pool A clash against Massey Albany scoring a massive 351-7 off their 50 overs led by top scorer James Boyle (98). Albany struggled to 149 all out in reply with Vic’s Senthil Selveratnam taking 4-29. Lincoln’s Carl Frauenstein took 4-28 as Massey Palmerston North were dismissed cheaply for 102; Lincoln took only 18.5 overs to reach their target with Frauenstein making 46 not out; Hamish Craw took 4-32 for Massey PN.
