World Uni Match Racing Champs - Team Named

Two crews will represent New Zealand at the 4th World University Match Racing Championships in Gdansk, Poland from 1-6 July 2008.

Selector Steve Macris in consultation with University Sport New Zealand has named the following sailors:

Crew One

  • James Sandal (Auckland University)
  • Josh Junior (Victoria University)
  • Matthew Stevens (Victoria University)
  • Chris Jones (Victoria University) 

Crew Two

  • Logan Sutherland (Auckland University)
  • Reuben Corbett (Auckland University)
  • Scott Burling (Auckland University)
  • Brad Farrand (Auckland University) 

The team will be managed by Dean Stanley from Royal Port Nicholson Yacht Club, Wellington. 

University Sport New Zealand wishes both teams good luck with the races in Poland.
