World Uni Water Skiing Champs - Team Named

Five water skiers will represent New Zealand at the 2nd World University Water Skiing Championships in Tianjin, China from 1-5 October 2008. 

Water Skiing New Zealand selectors in consultation with University Sport New Zealand has named the following top New Zealand athletes to compete: 

  1. Rebecca Summerill - Canterbury University
  2. Linda Shailer - Massey University (PN)
  3. Karl Schultz - Waikato University
  4. Matt Gibson - Waikato University
  5. Karl Donaldson - Canterbury University 

The team will be managed by Keith Summerill from Christchurch. 

The competition will feature Slalom, Tricks and Jumps to find the overall champion individuals and teams. 

University Sport New Zealand wishes the team success in China.
