NZ University Debating Competition

Welcome to the NZ University Debating page. Here you will find all the information you need about Debating at University.

History

Debating is the original sport of the NZU Games which (under different names) has been taking place since 1902.

The competition is organised by the NZU Debating Council who are the effective national sporting organisation for Debating in NZ.

The Debating Council also runs the Joynt Scroll competition which receives financial assistance from USNZ.
