The regatta is alternated between NZ and Australia on a yearly basis. In 2004 the NZ crews raced on the Sydney Olympic course in Penrith. NZU Rowing selects a Men’s and Women’s Heavyweight 8, a Men’s Lightweight 4 and a Women’s Lightweight quad to race in the series. These crews are selected at the NZ University Games each year.

The 2006 Trans Tasman Test Series was held 4-7 July in Sydney, Australia. Click here for the team itinerary.
