World University Rugby League Cup 2005
The 2005 World Univeristy Rugby League Cup was held 1-17th July, in Brisbane. New Zealand successfully defended their World University Rugby League Cup.

Rugby League at Uni Games
The 2007 NZU Rugby League Championships is scheduled to be played as part of the 2007 New Zealand University Games, to be in Christchurch on 10-13 April. More information about the Championsips will be released when available.
2006 champions were Canterbury beating Victoria in the final. The University of Auckland took out the 2005 NZU Rugby League Championships. Auckland defeated Victoria 26-6 to take out the Gold medal, The Univeristy of Canterbury captured the bronze ahead of south Island rivals from Otago.
